Dragon’s Dogma 2 | Where to find Medusa and how to defeat her

We show you where to find Medusa and how to defeat her to get her head and the Gorgon Magic Bow that she drops when we kill her.

In Dragon’s Dogma 2 we have a wide variety of enemies, including different field bosses that appear in certain locations, although this creature is not very common in the world. In this guide, we tell you where you can find it and how you can defeat it, along with the rewards it gives you .

How to find Medusa in Dragon’s Dogma 2

In order to reach Medusa , you will first have to have reached the Battahl region , since if not, it will be impossible for you to go by other means. You will have to go through a long path full of enemies, since it is the same path that we will take to go to the Dragonbreath tower where we can defeat our first minor dragon in the main story.

When you reach the forest, you will see several enemies petrified by her, so it will not be very difficult to find her lair. Anyway, when you follow the main path, you will see a small detour to the right, where there is a hole with a fallen tree trunk that you will have to go through to find her.

As soon as you enter, the boss bar will appear, telling you to prepare for battle. It’s not very difficult to defeat if you’re well prepared. In my case, I reached level 35, which was more than enough to not have any problems, although I did bring a couple of cures and potions just in case.

He has attacks that are quite easy to dodge, such as his petrifying gaze that you will have to avoid when his eyes turn magenta to avoid being petrified. He also has the arrow shot , with which he will shoot several arrows that after a few seconds will cause an explosion.

This boss moves very slowly , so take any opportunity to climb onto its shoulders and slash its head to deal critical hits and quickly lower its health. When you defeat it, its head will automatically fall to the ground , which you can pick up and equip to petrify enemies. In addition, you will also get a Medusa Granite Bone that you can use to upgrade your equipment and the Gorgon Magic Bow .

To get the “An Eye for an Eye” achievement, you’ll have to wait fifteen days until Medusa respawns in the same area. Rest on the benches or sleep at home , if you’ve bought it. Take the head with you and petrify it as soon as the fight starts.
