DO YOU WANT TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE? FOLLOW THESE TIPS!

To be more productive in everything you do, the important thing is not the quantity, but the quality of the time you dedicate to your tasks. In fact, working for hours and hours without stopping can even damage the success of what we are doing. Instead, using small tricks to make the most of the right working hours helps us to work with a smile. Smile which, in turn, is an added value to the passion we put into what we do every day.

# 1 Follow your biorhythm

It is important that you organize your day according to the rhythms of your body. Take on the toughest tasks at times of the day when you know your energy is at its peak, and postpone lighter tasks. Everyone is different: the important thing is to understand yourself and your uniqueness.

# 2 GIVE IT THE RIGHT PRIORITIES

The most important tasks should not only be done when you feel full of energy, but also before others, when your ‘mental freshness’ is greatest.

# 3 ORGANIZE YOUR WORK PLAN

When you find a good way of working, you optimize your time. This means creating productive routines: for example, first open and archive emails, then dedicate them to paper files, then call back those who searched for you by phone, etc.

# 4 GROUP SIMILAR TASKS TOGETHER

Our brains work best when grouping similar tasks together. In this way, we can learn what we need to do and execute it more quickly.

# 5 TAKE BREAKS

The most complex work tasks involve a lot of mental energies, energies that at some point run out. Fatigue risks slowing us down in our routine, and making us make mistakes. So it’s better to take a short break, have a coffee with colleagues and chat: when you go back to work, your energy will be far greater than before!

# 6 CREATE A ‘5 MINUTE LIST’

When you feel your energy low and you can’t keep going, try making a list of quick and easy tasks that you can do in 5 minutes. In this way your work will go on, you will not stop and you can recover some strength and mental freshness to dedicate yourself, later, to something more demanding.

# 7 AVOID ENGAGING IN TOO MANY THINGS AT ONCE

You risk not paying proper attention to any of them.

# 8 MAKE YOUR WORK ROUTINE FUN

When you feel that you are no longer able to get on with your work, try to make your homework more enjoyable, perhaps by listening to music or, if you can, by answering emails surrounded by the greenery of a park. You will see what a difference!
