The sales box of this Divoom Pixoo64 is very simple and minimal; inside we find the Smart frame, the USB-A / USB-C cable , a small easel to keep the frame standing and the classic user manuals.
The design is very simple, the whole frame is in matte black and the thickness of the edges is about 1 cm. In the rear area of the frame we find a USB-C port, a slot to insert a microSD , a hole to connect the tripod and, a little higher, a hole to hang the frame on the wall. The cable adapts perfectly to any type of positioning thanks to the special recess that allows it to pass through.
Features and operation
As already mentioned, it is a Smart frame made up of 64 x 64 colored LEDs that form a perfect square. Completely settable through the appropriate application available for Android and iOS , this Pixoo64 also mounts a microphone inside that allows you to pick up the sound and display the frequency bars on the screen.
Thanks to the special store on the application, it is possible to download and use infinite wallpapers or screenshots such as the one that shows the count of subscribers and followers of the various social networks. The app, despite being a bit cumbersome and slow, allows you to perform all operations quickly. Obviously it is also possible to create images or videos from scratch and then upload them to the store so that other users can also use them.
Clearly, it does not only act as a simple frame but, again through the application, you can relax by coloring special drawings, use it as a scorekeeper, set a countdown, show a schedule, time and much more.
Price and conclusion
This is perhaps the most difficult point to analyze, which is the price. In fact , Divoom Pixoo64 arrives on the market at 169 € . It is not a small price, however it is a truly unique accessory of its kind and able to leave anyone who enters your room or office speechless. It also represents, in my opinion, an excellent alternative for content creators, as it allows you to keep the growth of your profiles under control, not to mention that it can also be used simply as furniture to show during live shows.
