We tell you what the differences are between Pokémon Pocket and the Traditional TCG.
With the recent launch of Pokémon Pocket , many players are wondering about the differences between this style of game and the traditional TCC , a card game that has been played for more than twenty-five years since the first sets of physical Pokémon cards arrived in Europe. That is why, in this guide we will tell you all the differences between both modalities.
How is Pokémon Pocket different from the real card game?
The first thing we will talk about is the rules that are still maintained , such as the first turn without attacking, not being able to evolve the Pokémon you just placed on the table or not having a limit of item cards each turn, among others. Now, there are some changes regarding the number of cards, energy or rewards:
- In the real card game, 60 cards are used , while in Pokémon Pocket only 20 are used.
- In Pokémon Pocket energy is generated every turn, and in the real card game you have to use energy cards.
- Unlike the real game, in Pokémon Pocket we will not collect prize cards by knocking out our opponent.
As you can see, there is not a big difference between the traditional card game that has been played for so long (and is still played today) and the new mobile game, so if you have always wanted to learn how to play and then start your collection physically, now is the best time to do it.
