Biography

He was born on December 18, 1937 in Havana City. He studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and graduated in 1962. He worked as a doctor at the Hospital 20 de Noviembre in Mexico until 1970 and later as a Research Physician at the Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. He has published 63 articles in national magazines and 65 in international magazines. It has a vast number of presentations at scientific events, with 48 in Nationals and 23 in internationals. He has been a tutor or advisor for a specialty or doctoral thesis 16 times.
