Cult of the Lamb Guide – Where to Get Threads

If you are thinking about changing your followers’ wardrobe, you should take care of getting silk thread, because it is one of the main resources for creating outfits in the studio. In this guide, you will learn all the ways to get threads.

Sanctuary

To have a constant and reliable source of threads, you need to build a Sanctuary. It allows your wards to process various materials and obtain others. Open it through the Altar on the second level of the settlement. The construction of this building will cost you 16 gold coins, 8 stones and 4 logs. The standard Sanctuary has 5 slots for the crafting queue of items. The improved version has 10 slots, but it opens at the third level of the settlement and its construction costs 6 gold bars, 8 stone blocks and 3 planks. Beforehand, you must build a regular Sanctuary.

So, when the building is erected, we proceed to farming the necessary materials. To craft one thread, you will need 3 webs. To get this resource, you need to go to the Silk Cradle biome. This is the domain of Bishop Shamura, access to which can be obtained by clearing the 3 previous locations, or by recruiting 12 followers. Once in the Cradle, break the web items to get the necessary resource.

Now let’s start the consecration process. Go to the Sanctuary and line up the desired number of threads. Next, find a follower to whom you want to assign the crafting of materials and, interacting with him, click “Give work – Consecrate”. The ward you selected will go to carry out the task, but this is not a quick process. An improved Sanctuary will help speed it up. When the threads are ready, they can be taken from the chest next to the Sanctuary by pressing LMB.

Bowl of offerings

There is an alternative, but less reliable way to get threads. To do this, build a Bowl for offerings. This building opens on the second level of the settlement through the Altar. During the game day, your followers can leave useful resources for you in such bowls. However, they are chosen randomly. Sometimes there may be threads among them. It is better to put many Bowls at once to receive more gifts and thus increase the likelihood of receiving threads.
