5th place: Breast lift
Also known as mastopexy or breast lift, this procedure aims to lift the breasts, reversing the sagging that is quite common with advancing age or after weight loss and breastfeeding processes.
This sagging happens when there is excess skin on the breasts, which hinders its firmness and support, and the technique used varies according to the degree of sagging, which in turn is related to the amount of skin left over, called ptosis.
- Grade I : the amount of skin remaining is still low and there is no sagging in the breast itself;
- Grade II : the breasts are already starting to be below the ideal position, although the areola is still above the breast fold;
- Grade III : the flaccidity is already quite pronounced: the breasts are more drooping, with the beak pointing towards the ground.

Abdominoplasty surgery aims to remove excess fat and skin accumulated in the abdomen region. It differs from liposuction because, the latter, it is only aimed at eliminating fat, and does not act on the excess skin.
This procedure is recommended for men and women who have gone through intense weight loss processes and are uncomfortable with excess skin in the region. The cut is made between the height of the pubic hairline and the navel, and its size varies according to the degree of correction required.

3rd place: Blepharoplasty
More commonly known as eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty is a procedure that aims to remove excess skin accumulated in the eye area, which gives the face a more saggy and aged appearance. Surgery can be performed on the upper lids, lower lids, or both.
In some cases, the need for this surgery goes beyond aesthetics, because people with a lot of excess tissue in the upper eyelid even have a feeling of constant weight on the eyes that interferes with vision.

2nd place: Silicone implant
The placement of the silicone prosthesis is called augmentation mastoplasty. This is the second most common cosmetic plastic surgery in Brazil, and it is safe and fast: it takes between 1 and 1.30 hours and the postoperative period does not usually cause complications, as long as the procedure is performed by trained professionals in specialized clinics.
The operation basically consists of placing a breast prosthesis in the size and shape that best suit the patient’s taste and the medical recommendation for the case. Insertion techniques also vary according to the needs and profile of each patient.
1st place: Liposuction
And we arrive at the plastic surgery most performed by Brazilian women, according to the survey: liposuction. This procedure is indicated to remove excess fat located in different parts of the body, and is intended to model the body and emphasize the curves.
Liposuction is done through small holes in the body, through which the fat will be sucked, and these incisions are usually made in less exposed places so that the scar does not cause discomfort.
