The social network Clubhouse, which appeared only this year, literally blew up the Internet. Several factors influenced the popularity of the new product: an unusual audio format, which involves only voice communication between users, registration strictly by invitation, which cannot be obtained just like that, and, of course, availability only on one platform – iOS. The result was not long in coming. Today, world stars are registered at the Clubhouse, and Elon Musk offers to use the service for a working meeting with Vladimir Putin. It is a pity that the new service is not available on Android. But now it’s in the past.

The developer of the VKontakte application, Grigory Klyushnikov, has created a working version of Clubhouse for Android. It only took him one day. He managed to implement in his application all the functionality of the original and, most importantly, connect to the servers that ensure the operation of the service. That is, Android users now have not a separate analogue of Clubhouse, but a full-fledged client for their operating system, which provides them with access to a common space with iOS users and the same rooms.

In order not to confuse anyone, Klyushnikov posted the source code of his application on GitHub. If you understand something about programming and development, you can study it and make sure that everything is fine with Clubhouse for Android. True, the developer himself calls his brainchild a temporary measure, necessary until the creators of the original service release the official application on Google Play. But, given that Klyushnikov managed to implement the entire functional range of Clubhouse in his decision, it will not be necessary to change it.

Since Klyushnikov’s decision is unofficial, he tried to protect himself as much as possible from possible claims. Therefore, he not only changed the icon of the application and its name, christening the custom solution Houseclub, but also during the initial registration warns users that using an unofficial client can lead to account blocking. For some, this can be a serious reason not to put their account and hard-won invite at risk.

To install Houseclub on your Android smartphone, you will need:

- Wait until the download is complete, then open the “Downloaded files” and install the application;

- Launch the app, accept the terms of use and log in with your phone number.

It can only be obtained from an existing user of the service, who will also receive an appropriate invitation from someone earlier. He can provide two people with two invites, and those in turn – two more. That is, in theory, it is quite possible to get access to the Clubhouse, but not so easy. Therefore, if you already have an invite, think about it, are you ready to sacrifice it in order to use the service from Android?
