MacPaw has just announced the arrival of one of its flagship apps to the new Mac architecture. CleanMyMac X adapts to the M1 of the new Macs with Apple Silicon, preparing for the new generation of Apple equipment. Taking advantage of the occasion, it has also presented additional functions and improvements in the app, which has a new design.

With this new version, CleanMyMac X releases two great novelties. The first and already mentioned, is the adaptation to the new architecture of Apple Silicon. From now on, this app will work natively.
The second is a new design designed to fit the style of macOS Big Sur. This is the “biggest visual change in recent years,” according to MacPaw. This gives it a more modern look , with a new color palette, simpler shapes and more streamlined.
In addition, the Ukrainian company has decided to create a new cleaning function. With it, the app is able to clean the universal binaries of the apps on our computer. Thus, CleanMyMac X will delete the part that is not necessary to run on the Mac, freeing up space along the way.

CleanMyMac X is a “maintenance” app for our Mac. It is responsible for cleaning system files that take up space, uninstalling apps completely and avoiding threats that come from adware . It has a free version and a permanent license that costs 39.95 euros for a team.
