Causes and symptoms of stomach gas

Stomach gas is a common problem. This problem can occur at any age. Gas can occur due to spicy or oily food or overeating. Gas problems are very painful at times.

Causes of gas in stomach –

Gas in the stomach can also be caused by swallowing air. When eating, drinking or speaking, air goes into the stomach. This excess swallowed air escapes from burping. But the air that goes into the small intestine passes through the rectum through the large intestine. Talking while eating, drinking fast water, sucking hard candy, using tobacco products and consuming certain beverages cause excess air to pass into the stomach. Generally, gas in the stomach can be caused by many reasons. Causes of gastric in stomach:

  • Spicy food intake
  • Excessive alcohol consumption
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Intestinal upset
  • Digestive system malfunction
  • Not chewing the food properly
  • Eating more food
  • By chewing tobacco
  • Wake up at night
  • Constipation
  • Bacterial infection
