Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Guide – Liberty Falls Easter Eggs

Call of Duty’s Zombies mode has always had plenty of secrets and Easter eggs, and the recently released Black Ops 6 is no exception. At launch, players had access to two Zombies maps, and one of them was Liberty Falls.

As always, this mode is aimed primarily at experienced gamers who love hardcore challenges. The events on the Liberty Falls map unfold in one of the closed towns of West Virginia. In this guide, we will tell you in detail about all the Easter eggs on the map: the main storyline, the vault, the female version of the Patriot, dancing zombies and much more!

Let’s create a vacuum cleaner gun

The first thing you need to do is craft a vacuum gun. Although this wonder weapon can be randomly dropped from a mystery box or bubble gum, there is another, 100% way to craft this device.

Once you appear on the Liberty Falls map, head to the motel across from the gas station (you spawn on its roof) and go up the stairs to room 202. This room is next to the room with the police tape on the door. Be careful, as a horde of zombies will burst out of the room with the vacuum crafting table , but they are not dangerous in the first round. In room 202, look for a workbench where you can create a vacuum cleaner. To craft it, you will have to find 3 parts.

Water pressure gauge

The first part of the vacuum is the Water Pressure Gauge, and this is probably the hardest one to find. First, you need to visit Lily’s Flowerpot on Washington Avenue, to the right of the Speed Cola machine with the perk that increases your movement speed. Next to the flowerpot is a faucet that you can interact with. There will be no notification or alert that you can interact with this faucet: just walk up to it and press F to pick it up.

After you get the valve, head to Fuller’s Liberty Lanes and look at the wall on the right side of the lanes. Find them and break the wall panel closer to the corner to find pipes and pressure gauges. Interact with them to install the valve and increase the pressure. You need to stand next to the panel and hold the interaction key. On the left side of the screen there is a bar indicating the current progress. As soon as you start, the bowling club will fill up with zombies that will rush at you non-stop. Use bait and other objects to distract the mutants , or run in a circle and gradually increase the pressure without killing the zombies themselves (but first you need to gather them all together). Do not try to kill these zombies, as nothing good will come of it – you will only increase the current wave. It is best to do all this in the early stages of the game, while the zombies are not so strong. Once the water pressure sensor is full, the water pressure gauge will fly out onto the floor and you can pick it up.

Handbrake

Go to the cemetery on the right side of the church, fight zombies and wait for the appearance of a unique mutant, signed as the Overseer (he will be wearing a red and black shirt with denim overalls). Eliminate this monster as quickly as possible, otherwise he will disappear, and you will have to wait for him to appear again in the next wave. After killing him, the key to the barn will drop. Take this key, go down the road from the cemetery and immediately turn left. Next to the caretaker’s house there is a small barn that you can open. On the table is a handbrake.

Wire

To get to the wire, you need the Smasher Cannon or the Smasher Mutagen. The Smasher Cannon shot is the only way to get into the Radio House Electrics store across from Ollie’s Comics . The Radio House Electrics store is located on Riverside, near the motel and gas station. To get the Smasher Cannon, you must purchase it for 1250 credits or get it from the Smasher itself. The first Smasher appears in the 11th wave. You can stand in front of the closed grate of the Radio House Electrics store and wait for the Smasher to shoot you. Immediately after that, run to the side so that the projectile hits the grate. Go inside, interact with the small piles of garbage on the floor until you find the wire. Note that there is a Wrecker hiding under one of the piles.

Once you have the third part, return to the motel, enter room 202 and craft the Vacuum Cleaner (Trustdyne M-23).

First boss

Next, head to the local church where the upgrader is located. Once inside, interact with the generator on the right side of the church, to the right of the upgrader. Interacting with the red panel will trigger an in-game cutscene with a scientist who will task players with finding and assembling a limited interdimensional transition device.

All parts for the device of a limited interdimensional transition

After receiving a new objective from the scientist and assembling the Trustdyne M-23 vacuum gun, you will need to find 3 components to craft a limited interdimensional transition device. This weapon deals damage by sucking in enemies, but you can also use this mode to suck in surrounding objects, including collectibles:

Part #1. Go inside the church (and in fact, you shouldn’t have left it after receiving the task from the scientist). To the left and above the upgrader, the first part is flying, which you can pull in with a vacuum cleaner.

Part #2: Head to Olly’s Comics and look at the ceiling in the center of the room to find broken panels. In their place will be the second part.

Part #3: Go to Washington Avenue and climb up to the corner rooftops. From the rooftop where the zipline is, jump down onto the white van. Turn around and look through the right window of the barber shop to find the third part.

Once you have the parts, head to the roof of the Liberty Falls bank across the street and go to the left side to find a workbench for crafting a limited interdimensional transition device. Make it and take it.

Summoning the boss and capturing the essence

Return to the church, go to the device to the right of the upgrader and interact with the protruding tube. You will receive a container that you need to use to capture the entity. Keep in mind that this is a heavy device, which means you will not be able to run. I recommend buying the perk opposite the Liberty Falls bank to increase your movement speed. In any case, you will be able to drop the canister, kill enemies and pick it up again. Take the container to the motel and gas station. There is a zombie trap here. From the equipment in the center, 3-4 wires go out, which lead to one of the traps. You need to place the container next to one of these traps. Be sure to remember exactly where you leave it! If you can’t get this container from the church, run around the map and open all the passages.

Once you’ve placed the canister near the trap in front of the motel and gas station, head to Riverside and interact with the dark ether cloud that has a cell underneath. You’ll place a limited dimensional transition device that you need to protect from all zombies trying to destroy the portal that appears. Defend this portal for 60 seconds. After that, the first boss, Grodshiv, will appear. In fact, this is a strengthened Crusher. Fight the boss, and when he’s low on health, lure him to the trap you left the canister near. Trigger the trap near the motel. The boss must die near the correct trap so that his soul ends up inside the canister.

Once this happens, take the Essence Canister to the church. You will have 90 seconds to do this. The countdown timer is on the right side of the screen. Run through the bowling alley to get to the church faster (the passage under the motel). If you fail this step or the boss disappears, re-interact with the device installed under the dark ether cloud and repeat the steps.

Strauss counter

After placing the Boss Essence Canister in the Church Equipment, you will be able to pick up the Strauss Counter, which will take the place of the Tactical Gear. With the Strauss Counter in hand, you must visit three locations with special devices, energy projectors. While at each of these energy projectors, hold the Tactical Gear Activation key to retrieve the Strauss Counter, and pay attention to its color (while standing near the projector). The Strauss Counter can be green, yellow, or red. Players can interact with each projector to change the color of the light bulb on top.

What color the device should show depends on what you see on the Strauss counter screen:

  • If the Strauss counter is green, make the light on the projector red.
  • If the Strauss counter is yellow, make the light on the projector yellow.
  • If the Strauss counter is red, make the light on the projector green.

As for the projectors themselves, you should look for them at these points on the map:

  1. On the lawn by the stairs that lead down from the church to the bowling alley.
  2. In the backyard of the Overseer’s house, to the right of the cemetery.
  3. On the roof of Yummy Freeze. To get there, go up to the roof of the largest building, the Liberty Falls Bank, and drop down the east side.

Once all the projectors are properly calibrated, you will see them converge at one point. Return to the gas station at the starting location and interact with the Ether Canister that appeared next to the trap.

Second boss

After getting the Ether Canister at the Gas Station, take the Limited Dimensional Travel Device to Riverside. Take the Ether Canister to Hill Street and leave it next to the floor trap. You can activate it with the nearby device, but don’t do that yet. Head to the Graveyard and place the Limited Dimensional Travel Device under the Dark Ether cloud to activate the portal. Again, defend this portal from zombies. Use all available weapons. After 60 seconds, the portal will dissipate, and another empowered boss will appear. Attack the enemy until he has minimal health left, then lure him to the trap and the canister on Hill Street. Activate the trap and finish off the boss when he is standing next to the canister.

As before, take the canister with the boss’s essence and take it to the church to insert it into the generator. As before, you will have 90 seconds to do this, so hurry.

The final boss

After completing all the previous steps, continue fighting off enemies, fully upgrade weapons (both rarity for 500, 1000, 2500 and 7500 parts, and power in the upgrader for 5000, 15,000 and 30,000 credits), buy epic armor (at the cemetery for 14,000 credits) and perks from all machines.

At the end of the Liberty Falls storyline, you don’t have to fight a boss, but you will find yourself inside a closed space, a church, and large crowds of zombies will be coming at you. The battle is divided into three stages. It would be great if you took the Crusher mutagen with you! Once you activate the final battle, there is no turning back, so be as prepared as possible for the upcoming battle.

Once the generator is activated (if you’re playing in a team, all players in the squad must do this), the exits from the church will close, and all you have to do is destroy all the zombies that appear to feed the generator with their souls. The first wave of mutants consists only of regular zombies, while the second stage will feature 2-3 Crusher. The third stage will feature a strengthened Spawn, so you should have saved the Crusher mutagen for it (by the way, it can drop from the Crusher you kill inside the church). This mutagen will make you temporarily invulnerable.

Once you’ve destroyed all the enemies, the final cutscene will play. The main story quest Liberty Falls is complete! As a reward, you’ll get a new weapon, a unique skin for it, and a calling card with a golden zombie skull (if you complete the quest in the first days after release).

Little Easter Eggs in Liberty Falls

As previously written, Black Ops 6’s zombie mode is full of various secrets and Easter eggs, and we’ll start with the least interesting or most simple ones:

  1. There is a skull on the roof of the church. You can see it if you stand at the back of the cemetery. Shoot the skull.
  2. Throw a grenade onto the roof of the tower to the left of the main entrance to the church. Or fire a rocket launcher. Zombies and valuable loot will fall from the sky.
  3. Buy an ammo upgrade that deals fire damage, then shoot the two sets of candles inside the church.
  4. Buy a sniper rifle and go to the back of the cemetery where the purple vest is. Stand by the hole in the fence where the sandbags are. There are 5 cans on the wooden fence – shoot them.
  5. There are 2 vending machines under the motel in the starting location. If you melee the left vending machine, you will receive a random item. If you buy a perk that increases melee damage and hit the machine, it will be destroyed, and you will receive several items at once.
  6. Go to the stairs on the side of the building with Olly’s Comics. There is a window to the left of the door. Shoot the symbol in the left corner of the window.
  7. Inside the bowling alley, shoot at the billiard balls.
  8. Climb up to the roof of the bank, jump down to the roof of the Alamo and shoot through the hole in the window and shoot the bomb on the lamp.
  9. There are 2 binoculars on Riverside. If you use both to spot the dancing zombie on the cliff to the right-upper, the zombies from the current wave will start dancing. This will last for a few seconds.
  10. There are 3 black cars with horizontal yellow/gold stripes on the map. One of them contains Mr. Peaks (blue plush toy). Destroy it with a shot from the Crusher cannon.
  11. There are 3 pairs of headphones with rabbit ears on the map, Interact with them: on the bench in the church; in the alley behind the motel, between the motel and the bowling alley, under the white fence; on Washington Avenue, under the bench next to the bus .

Bowling Club – Easter Egg

To access the Easter egg inside Liberty Lanes Bawling, you need to shoot 5 pairs of shoes (you can do this in any order):

  1. Go to West Main Street and find Benson’s Funeral Home. There’s a pair of shoes on top of a coffin. Shoot them through the crack in the door. It’s across from the bowling alley.
  2. Go up Hill Street until you come across a broken door of a white house on the right. This is the caretaker’s house. There are steps leading up to the door and porch. Shoot through the hole into the pair of shoes under the chair .
  3. Behind the fence on a tree, in the backyard of the cemetery. Next to where you can buy a level 3 bulletproof vest.
  4. Opposite Olly’s Comic’s is a comic shop. Shoot the pair of shoes that are on the shelves to the right.
  5. There is a broken window under the roof at the starting position. Through it you can see the counter and the shoes standing on it.

Once you’ve shot all the shoes, you’ll be teleported inside the bowling alley. All the zombies are dancing and pose no threat. Throw the bowling ball, knocking down the zombies and scoring points. No points are awarded for knocking down the pins! The more points you score, the better the reward. To bowl again, go to the restroom in the bowling alley and shoot the shoes sticking out of the toilet.

Etherella or the female version of Patriot

The most interesting Easter egg will temporarily turn you into a superhero . It can only be obtained after crafting or purchasing the Vacuum Cleaner wonder weapon, which is related to the main storyline of Liberty Falls. This is due to the fact that you will have to travel around the location and vacuum Etherella figurines. The order in which you receive the items does not matter:

  1. Olly’s Comics has 4 Etherella figures available.
  2. Climb to the roof of the local bank and destroy the board with the red X. Jump down and vacuum up the figurine between the two large air conditioners on the roof of the adjacent building.
  3. Proceed to the bowling club. The statue is located right on the sign. To suck it in, you need to jump on the long bus outside the bowling club.
  4. One of the figures is located next to the motel sign on the side of the building itself, where a barrier of cars and other objects is formed.
  5. The next figure is in the window of the building that houses Lily’s Flowerspot. To get a good position to use the Vacuum Cleaner, you’ll need to get on top of the adjacent bar across the street (the building with the Speed Cola machine underneath). Aim for the top left window.
  6. One of the figurines is located to the right of the main entrance to the church, on the upper windows.

How to open the vault in Liberty Falls

In the center of the location is the Liberty Falls Bank, inside of which you can find a large vault door. To open it, you need to use a randomly generated 6-digit code. It is divided into three parts, and each of them is in a different location. These locations are always the same for each playthrough:

  1. On the counter in the bank itself, under the lamp.
  2. On the counter in the bowling club, under the same lamp. Shoot the bucket with bottles to find a note with a code.
  3. Behind the counter in the comic book store. You need to stand in the center of the counters, look down at the shelves under the counter with the cash register. This is the counter closest to the Etherella model.

Once you have all three parts, or rather, found and remembered the numbers, deal with the current wave of zombies, leave 1-2 enemies. Lure them away from the bank, run inside the bank and enter the code. The numbers on the code panel cannot be higher than “59”, so use this as a guide to enter the code combination faster. If you enter the wrong code, the door will be temporarily locked. Return to it in 2-3 minutes. If the code is entered correctly, you will find yourself inside the vault for a few seconds. You are guaranteed to receive 500 credits.

What are trophy keys for?

Strong enemies periodically drop trophy keys, which have the same rarity as weapons – green, purple, orange… These keys need to be taken inside the bank vault. You can open it an unlimited number of times, just after each visit some time must pass (perhaps the next wave should begin). Returning to the vault, you can open one of the cells. And the rarer the key you use, the higher your reward will be.
