Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Emergency – How to Drain a Pool

During the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 story campaign, Case will find himself in a secret laboratory where, under the influence of a hallucinogen and the poisonous substance “Cradle”, he will face internal nightmares and learn the secret of his past.

One of the tasks you will have to solve on the territory of the complex will be to drain the pool. Now let’s talk in more detail about how to complete the operation “Emergency” in Black Ops 6!

Walkthrough

“Emergency” is the sixth story mission of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign, which continues the events of the previous operation called “Cradle”. During the previous mission, Marshall, Case and the rest of the squad infiltrated Saddam Hussein’s secret palace and found traces of an unknown biological weapon. Trying to find out its origin, they arrived in Kentucky, where they found out that the CIA and Russian scientists were working on the creation of this biochemical weapon. “Cradle” is capable of changing the human mind. And to find out more, the squad went to an abandoned laboratory complex in Kentucky.

Although the mission “Emergency” is not a very difficult mission, its passage may seem confusing. There are several puzzles at once that you have to solve.

Completing this operation comes down to completing three goals:

  1. Throw it into the research complex.
  2. Find four directors’ passes.
  3. Use the elevator and get to the biotechnology department.

As soon as the mission begins, Case and Marshall will find themselves in a building filled with toxic gas with a greenish tint. The fighters will put on gas masks and try to find a way into the biotechnology department. As a result, Case will fall into an elevator shaft and end up at the bottom of an underground complex. If that’s not enough, his mask will break and he will be exposed to the toxic substance. A red-lit door will appear ahead. Go to it, but you won’t be able to open it. The task will update, and you will be asked to find a tool. Go back, turn right and pick up an axe from the floor (surrounded by mannequins). After receiving the tool, ignore any hallucinations – for now they are harmless and cannot cause damage.

Use the axe to destroy the red door, then move along the corridor to the right. Moving forward, turn through the open door on the left. Climb the stairs on the right side and continue moving until you reach the blocked elevator. It is blocked for now. As soon as you turn around, you will be surrounded by mannequins, which after a few seconds will turn into… zombies . Use the axe to destroy all the enemies. Go down the steps to the round reception desk in the center of the hall. Answer the phone call.

The other line will tell you that to access the Biotech Division, you will need four director passes from the Cognitive Research Center (red keycard), Advanced Combat Simulations (yellow keycard), Administration (green keycard), and Joint Operations (blue keycard). You will also receive a map of the underground complex, which shows all the departments, but the first one on the map must be the yellow line – Advanced Combat Simulations, where the yellow keycard is located.

Advanced Combat Simulation Division (Yellow Pass)

Turn left from the round table in the center of the room, move forward along the corridor. The door under the inscription in huge letters West Wing will open automatically. This is the west wing. Continue moving forward until you see yellow steps on the left side. Climb them and go deeper into the complex until you find yourself in the director’s office.

Interact with the computer on the table. You need to solve a fairly simple word puzzle on the computer. You might have solved this puzzle earlier, in the shelter, if you were trying to figure out the code combination to the safe on the second floor. Enter the words “access” and “elevator” (the order in which you enter the words may vary). When you get to the Advanced Combat Simulations Department, you will encounter a group of zombies. Take out the axe and destroy all the enemies. After that, the camera will direct you to a mannequin holding a yellow pass. Do not approach it yet! Explore this huge room, collect numerous weapons, armor plates and other equipment. So, on the opposite side of the room there are two turrets at once, which you can and should install near the mannequin with the yellow pass (or anywhere else in the room). Once you’re ready, go to the table next to the mannequin holding a hook – this is your new tool for quick movement: with the hook you can pull yourself to different objects or enemies. However, it will only be available within the framework of this task, since our hero, let’s not forget, has been exposed to hallucinogens.

Once you pick up the hook, you will be attacked by a huge zombie that will be labeled as the Director. This is the Abomination, which you can fight in the Black Ops 6 zombie maps. Use the Q key on PC (activate tactical gear) to pull yourself to one of the platforms behind the Abomination and avoid damage. Fight the boss and the regular zombies that will periodically appear in the room (about three to four groups will come in total).

Let me remind you that you can find various gadgets in the room, including turrets and, most importantly, C4 explosives, which I recommend throwing directly at the Spawn. On the other hand, explosives will allow you to destroy several dozen regular mods at once. Once you destroy the boss, getting the hook and yellow pass, go to the center and, standing on the elevator, look up. You will find grappling points that you can grab with your hook. This is the only way to get out of the Advanced Combat Simulation Department! Climb until you return to the main building.

From now on, you can visit the three remaining sections in any order. We’ll start with the red line!

Center for Cognitive Research (Red Pass)

Returning to the reception in the center of the hall, move to the East Wing. Note the red carpet that leads to the department you need. Go up the stairs. To make it easier to navigate, use the tactical map (key M). Continue moving forward, go through two doors, but do not rush. Before going further, pay attention to the passage on the right, leading to the locker room. Inside you can find a radio receiver and a safe for this operation. As always, tune the frequency to listen to the code, open the safe and take $ 1000.

Continue down the red carpeted hallway until you reach a room with a console behind glass. Get closer to find a Crusher (another elite enemy from Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode) trapped inside a large, spherical capsule . Interact with the console. The camera will switch to the Crusher, and you’ll see a red keycard in his hands. Move away from the console a little, facing away, and look up to see a grappling point. Use the grappling hook to climb up to the upper railing. Jump into the pool, dive underwater, and look behind the Crusher for a red tunnel. Swim through it to the other side. Climb the stairs on the left and turn right. Kill a few zombies in the area (there really aren’t many).

How to drain a pool?

Go through the door. There will be another closed door on the left side. Open it by using the ultraviolet flashlight and choosing the correct code combination. To do this, do the following. You need to turn on the flashlight while examining the digital panel to see the frequently used keys. The code consists of them. In this case, one of the digits may not be part of the code combination, and the other is used twice. Go through these digits and watch what color they are painted on the right side of the screen: red means that such a digit is not in the code, yellow – there is a digit, but now you have put it in the wrong position, green – the digit is selected correctly and is in the correct position (which, however, does not exclude the presence of a second such digit).

Please note that the code will be different for each player. After opening the door, move away from it, go to the room opposite and examine the console. After interacting with it, a countdown will start. You have 25 seconds to turn all three valves:

  • The first valve is in the same room as the console.
  • The second valve must be found in the room that you just opened (by picking up the password).
  • To get to the third valve, go back to the ladder you used to get out of the pool and look on the opposite side. Use the grappling hook to swing over to this distant balcony and look on the wall for a well-hidden third valve.

This simple method will drain the pool. Go back along the same corridor (this time on foot) to the room with the pool and the capsule in which the Crusher was. The monster has already broken free. Go to the broken glass capsule, and as soon as you try to take the red keycard, you will immediately be attacked by the Crusher. Look to the right and use the hook to get out of the pool. By the way, this pool will periodically be exposed to electricity, so I do not recommend going down (although you can do this to lure the Crusher, who also takes damage from electricity). Deal with the Crusher and the horde of zombies that periodically appear in the location. Once everyone is killed, you will receive a red pass. Go back the same way, but keep in mind that closer to the end of the corridor you will be attacked by a whole crowd of zombies. After killing everyone, move back to the central hall and the reception.

Administrative building (green pass)

Look at the elevator and turn your head to the left to find a balcony that you can climb up with a grappling hook. You can also get there using the balcony opposite the other, previously visited Advanced Combat Simulations department in the West Wing. This path will allow you to get to the Administration Wing. While there, you will hear a phone. Answer it (by the way, there is another phone at the end of the West Wing, between the Advanced Combat Technologies department and the Administration Building). Then continue moving until you get to a spacious room with several office desks and mannequins. To open the glassed office on the right, you need to find four reports and place them in the file pockets on the glassed room:

  1. The first document is on a small table in the center of the room next to the information stand.
  2. The second document lies on the table in the left corner, diagonally from the center of the room.
  3. The third report is at the opposite end, in the cafe next to the sink.
  4. Finally, the fourth document can be found on the left side of the room next to the round table.

Note that the mannequins in this room are a threat and, in the spirit of some horror games , will move towards you while your back is turned. If they get close, they will attack Case. So try to keep as far away from them as possible. Even better, destroy the mannequins using a firearm or melee weapon. Place the documents in the file holder next to the glass room. Once you do this, you can go inside the office, but before you can take the pass, you will be attacked by a red mannequin. You can’t just kill it. It’s a very fast and agile mannequin that will hide whenever you approach it. Use the hook to catch the escaped director. Doing this three times in a row will cause enough damage, the mannequin will break, but immediately after that it will turn into a Crusher. Use all available arsenal to destroy the boss, and then take the green pass.

Joint Operations Division (Blue Pass)

Return to the central section and head to the Joint Operations Department. You will find yourself in an office with zombies. Deal with the enemies, then approach the specified video camera. After interacting with it, you will understand that this elite mutant is able to take the form of surrounding objects. Periodically, it will disappear, and you will need to navigate the mini-map to track the movement of the blue keycard. Also, the object into which the boss has turned will shake. And as you approach it, you will hear a characteristic noise. The monster only attacks in close combat, so keep a safe distance and use firearms. After victory, you will receive a blue pass.

Department of Biotechnology

Now that you have all four key cards, go back to the elevator. Insert the pass into the slots on the reception desk, call the elevator, get rid of the zombies and go further. The final battle in this mission awaits you. Once you defeat the main zombie (the rest are endless, and the boss also strengthens them), the task will be completed.

All phones

Additionally, there is a hidden challenge in the Emergency mission, to complete which you need to answer all the phone calls. There are five of them:

  1. After you try to call the elevator to the biotech department and are attacked by the first “real” zombies (which you need to kill), you will hear a phone ringing at the reception desk. Answer it.
  2. After the mission in the Advanced Combat Simulations Division, back in the West Wing, go left, to the end of it (not towards the reception) to find another phone. You will probably hear this ringing any time you approach this phone.
  3. After the second phone call, you need to get to the top floor of the administrative building, located opposite the Advanced Combat Technologies Department. This can be done either from the west wing or from the elevator. The phone is in the main corridor.
  4. Once you reach the Joint Operations Department, you will be able to answer the fourth phone call immediately (when you pull yourself onto the balcony of this department from the east wing).
  5. The last ringing phone will be found after you gain access to the Biotech department. After riding the elevator, you will be able to take the last phone call.
