Welcome to this brand new guide for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies . Special suspect this time is the Aetherium Crystal . Many of you will have noticed this new element in the game and we are here to explain exactly how it works.
Quite simply, at the end of each game, or after a level pass or after reaching certain objectives, you will be rewarded with one of these crystals that you can spend in the Skills menu. Wanting to make a comparison with the previous chapters, it is the direct successor of the Liquid Divinium, already present in Black Ops 3 , and of the Nebulium Plasma of Black Ops 4. Unlike its predecessors, however, the Aetherium Crystal will not make us challenge our luck in search of a Gubblegum or a useful Elixir, it will allow us to go and enhance the elements that we consider most important in our equipment. As I anticipated, in fact, in the Skills menu you will find yourself in front of several possible upgrades which are: upgrades for entire weapon classes, perk upgrades, upgrades of Pack-A-Punch mods and upgrades for skills on the field. It will be up to you to decide what to unlock first as you will be able to see every single upgrade available to you.
