Xbox Series S is focused on that sector of the gamer population that wants to introduce itself in a less abrasive way in the new generation. Therefore, because of the reduced power compared to its older sister, the small Microsoft console will do a good job on any current television without having to look for the latest of the latest. That is not to say that you cannot take advantage of the HDMI 2.1 features that the models above present, in fact, it has full support for them; but following its economic philosophy, we wanted to recommend a more economical model thinking only of it.

An affordable alternative to an affordable console

This is one of the models that Sony itself has prepared to pair with its next-generation console. A proposal with good value
Within the family of QLED televisions that Samsung has prepared for this 2020, the Q60T corresponds to its most affordable range ; something we noticed in the absence of some features, such as the 120 hertz refresh rate that we value so much, or the full support with the HDMI 2.1 standard. However, in exchange for this we still have a panel with excellent image quality for its price, very good response time, and support for VRR, FreeSync and ALLM , partly making up for the absence of the HDMI 2.1 standard.

The affordable UHD alternative
Closing the list we have one of the cheapest models of it. This TCL 815 has a very good image quality, an acceptable response time, good sound and decoding, and compatibility with some interesting game modes for use with a new generation console. For this reason, as well as the aforementioned price, we believe that it makes up for the absence of HDMI 2.1 or high refresh rates so difficult to find in the cheapest ranges.
