Taking into account the shapes, dimensions, convenience, battery and technical specifications, we have chosen for you the models that we think are suitable for a teenager.
To identify the best phones for each age group we have set different criteria. For older children we thought of Nokia models , for the most demanding high school kids we considered the past iPhone models and some Moto models, still very valid and sold at affordable prices.
Phones with iOS 13 or Android 10 (or their successors) are a safe bet: both platforms have excellent parental control features that allow complete management of the device, even for cases of bullying or stalking .

Honor is a big name in budget smartphones because it offers great value for money. Honor 10 Lite is no exception, thanks also to a number of suppliers who offer it for free with very cheap monthly contracts. The main downside is not the hardware, but Google’s decision to suspend Honor, and the parent company Huawei, from future Android and app updates. This is why the future is currently dark. It’s a shame, because the phone is brilliant. We appreciate the memories of the original 3310 from 2000, a rugged phone that has accompanied us for many years. The new Nokia 3310 3G isn’t quite as rugged as that version, but it’s still great and makes for a really great kid or teen phone. There’s a brilliant battery with a whopping month-long standby time, a crisp and clear screen, a decent camera, and a customizable interface, although as far as we know there is no easy way to remove the Facebook and Twitter icons. pre-installed. Although the 3310 3G is cheap, it is still on the more expensive side of the market when it comes to mobile phones with budget functions: there are other Nokia’s on the market that have the same features as the 3310, but not the same style.
