Armor and Talismans in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

These are all the armor and talismans in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and what you need to do to get them. We have a whole new series of protective gear sets to get in this expansion.In addition to the new weapons added with the expansion, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree also introduces us to tons of new armor sets and talismans to improve our character’s defense options . There’s not much more to say about that, just remember to check the weight of the armor to avoid the dreaded fat roll.

Here are all the new armor , their base stats, and new talismans in Shadow of the Erdtree , as well as what you need to do to get them all.

Ascetic set

The Ascetic Set is a light armor set . All four pieces are dropped by Cursed Blades , the enemies that usually lurk on top of the ruins and attack you with chakrams.

Grave Bird Set

The Grave Bird Set is a light armor set . The pieces are obtained differently , not all at once as part of a set.

Grave bird helmet

This piece is found in the Spiral Tower of Enir-Ilim , on an altar that you can jump to from the elevator at the top of the tower. Follow our dungeon guide to locate the exact spot.

Grave Bird Armor

To get the Grave Bird Armor you must go to the lake west of the Abandoned Sick Village , in the Plain of Graves .

From there, go to the northwest edge and look south , you will see a slope with several birds perched on the columns. You have to climb to the top of the slope to find the armor next to the foot of the arch at the top of the hill.

Grave Bird Bracelets

You’ll find these bracelets near the Grace Post of the Column Path , at the end of the path that runs southeast from the Great Ellac Bridge campsite.

From there, simply go up the slope to the south-southeast and you will see some columns of burial birds, go up the stairs and you will see a body in a “square” with the piece.

Grave Bird Anklets

This piece is located in the Shadow Plateau, in the Poison Swamp area . To get there, you have to go to the Grace of the Moorth Ruins and go north to the lake . In the northern part there is a cave that takes you to the swamp .

Once there, look for a monolith in the northwest part of the swamp , kill the tomb birds and collect the piece of a corpse on the shore.

Big jar

The Greathelm is a unique item that is not part of a set . It is obtained in Belurat Prison , follow our dungeon guide to find it.

Black Knight Armor

Black Knight Armor is a medium weight set . All pieces are dropped by Black Knights . You can find one that respawns in the camp at the Great Bridge of Ellac . The location of Grace is in Front of the Castle, from there go to the shops southwest of Grace to find it.

Messmer Soldier Armor

Messmer’s Soldier Armor is a lightweight set . All pieces are dropped from Messmer’s Soldiers (the ones with the axe and shield, not the lesser ones). They appear everywhere.

This armor set is lightweight . All pieces are obtained as drops from common Soldiers (they usually accompany Messmer’s Soldiers, they do not wear the cape, the helmet is different… they are easy to locate).

Oathseeker Knight Set

The Oathseeker Knight set is a medium-weight armor set . The full set is obtained from the Church of Blessing , which is located in the south-southwest part of the Plain of Graves .

To get there, you have to go to the Grace Cross of three paths , cross the stone arch to the west and start going south-southwest, without leaving the cliff, until you cross a cave that leaves you next to the church. When you get there, go north of the building and you will find a body hanging with the set.

Divine Beast Head

The Divine Beast Head is a unique item obtained by defeating the Dancing Lion Divine Beast .

Filling Set

Rellana’s set is a medium-weight armor set . To get it, you must first defeat Rellana, Knight of Twinmoon . Afterwards, go to the Round Table and speak to Enia next to the Two Fingers to purchase each piece for 10,000 runes.

Dane Dry Leaf Set

The Dane Dryleaf Set is a light armor set . The set is obtained in parts: the hat from one source and the rest of the set is obtained at the same time from another source.

Obtained by defeating Dryleaf Dane in the Moorth Ruins .

Tunic of dried leaves

This piece (and the rest of the set) is obtained in the Shadow Plateau Bottom . You must reach the Grace Downstream of the Hermits’ River and go down the cliff using the tombs, looking to descend on the left side to stay at the top of the waterfall. From there, you must go northwest , to the point below these lines.

Aside from a few bone slimes , you should see a waterfall , and behind the curtain of water, a body with a glowing object . That’s where you’ll find the rest of the Leafy Dane set.

The Highlands armor set is a light armor set . The full set is found on a corpse among the trees west of the lake that is northeast of the Altasenda Cross.

Ralva’s Hide is a unique item that is not part of any set. It is a light helmet that you will obtain by defeating Ralva, the Great Red Bear .

The Glorious Set is a light armor set . While it is obtained in full from the Ruins of Rauh in the northwesternmost part of the region (where one of the Red Bears is), keep in mind that the gloves and boots are the same as those from the Highlands set .

Rakshasa’s armor is a medium-weight armor set . The full set is obtained by defeating Rakshasa in the Shadowy Highlands Depths .

Igon’s set is a light armor set . All pieces are obtained at once at the end of Igon’s quest .

Gaius’ set is a set of heavy armor . To get it, you must first defeat Commander Gaius . Then, talk to Enia at the Round Table to buy her helmet, armor and gloves . Greaves can be obtained at another location .

Gaius’ Greaves are the only non-purchasable piece of the set . To get them, you must go to the Albinaurc Hut in Shadowview , northeast of where you fight Gaius.

There you will find an albinaur on a wolf , kill him and he will drop the greaves.

Winged Serpent Helmet

The Winged Serpent Helmet is a unique item without a set . It is obtained by defeating a specific Fire Knight on the way to Messmer during the Final Assault on the Shadow Fortress , you will basically get it as a requirement.

Messmer’s set is a light armor set . It can be purchased from Enia at the Round Table after defeating Messmer the Impaler .

Salza hood

This unique piece is obtained by defeating Salza , a fire knight who you must meet on the bridge to the Ancient Ruins of Rauh .

Crucible Hammer Helmet

This unique piece is obtained by defeating Devonia , an enemy that appears in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh . You will encounter him as you progress through the ruins at the beginning , he will be right at the exit and will attack you as soon as you pass by, so he is impossible to miss.

Antler set

This light armor set is obtained all at once after defeating the Horned One in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh . Note that it will only appear if you have followed the steps of his quest up to that point.

Leda’s armor , a medium-weight piece , is a unique piece . It doesn’t belong in any set, though if you’re looking to get Leda’s look, pick up the Oathseeker’s Helmet, Gauntlet, and Greaves , which complete the NPC’s look. To get the piece, you need to defeat Spireknight Leda , then search her body in the room after the fight , on the right-hand side.

Thiollier set

The Thiollier set is a light armor set . It is obtained by completing Thiollier’s quest , which involves helping him with Saint Trina and defeating Radahn at the end of the DLC. If you have followed the guide, you will get it without any problems.

Ansbach set

The Ansbach set is a light armor set . You’ll get it by completing the Ansbach quest , making sure Leda goes for the antlers, helping him find the ritual scroll in the Shadow Fortress, and summoning him for the fight against Leda. After defeating Radahn (you don’t need to summon Ansbach for the fight), he’ll be on one of the bodies in the area. If you’ve followed the guide, you’ll get him without any problems.

This heavy armor set can be purchased from Enia at the Round Table after defeating Radahn, Promised Consort .

Light ribbon

The Ribbon of Light is a unique item , not part of any set. It is obtained by interacting with the light in the center of the area after the fight against Radahn, Promised Consort , at the end of Enir-Ilim .

Talismans

Apart from armor, we also have talismans, accessories that apply special effects . These are all the new talismans that are added with Shadow of the Erdtree , their effect and how to get them.

Leaf of mercy

Increases attack power after each critical hit.

This talisman is obtained in the Scorched Ruins , in the Plain of Tombs .

Upon entering the “village”, go up the western side until you reach the rooftops. Rotate the camera until you spot the light of some torches .

Now you simply have to move along the roof until you get there, open the door behind the torches and you will find the chest with the talisman.

Talisman of effect

Increases resistance to the last effect suffered.

This talisman is obtained in the Abandoned Sick Village .

All you have to do to get there is climb up the slope to the top of the village. You’ll find the talisman on a scaffolding at the edge of the cliff.

Relic of the Outer God

Increases the arcane.

This talisman is obtained in the City of Possibilities , an area that is in the southwest part of the Plain of Graves .

Climb up the rubble to the main part. You will encounter a bunch of big guys . After you finish them off, head through the square and up the stairs to find a small building with a chest containing the talisman.

Blessed Blue Dew Talisman

Slowly restores PCs.

This talisman is located in the Church of Blessing , which is in the south -southwest part of the Plain of Tombs .

To get there, you have to go to the Grace Cross of three paths , cross the stone arch to the west and start going south-southwest, without leaving the cliff, until you cross a cave that leaves you next to the church. The talisman will be on the altar.

Crusade Badge

Increases attack power after defeating an enemy.

You will get this talisman by defeating the Fire Knight Queelign .

Immunizing Horny Amulet +2

Greatly increases immunity.

This talisman is obtained in Belurat, the settlement of the tower . The process is quite long : you have to get to the area of the fire-breathing birds , jump to the roof next to the door that leads to the stairs, get the Key from the bottom of the well and return to the beginning of the dungeon, where the fountains were . Go up the stairs from the first one, turn right and look to the left of the second fountain to see some ladders.

You’ll be dropped off in the sewer , where you can open the door with your key. Once in the swamp, go west and then south until you see the Cankered Tree Spirit , taken straight from the base game. When you’re done with it, you’ll get the talisman.

Dry bouquet

Increases attack power when the summoned spirit dies.

This talisman is obtained in Belurat, the Tower Settlement . From the Small Private Altar, go up the stairs , go to the left of the scimitar armory and go through the shadow alley to the waterfall. Go through the open door, go up the ladder, go to the top of the stairs and look to the left . You will see a street full of scorpions . Well, on the right side you will see some rubble that you can jump on.

Behind the rubble is a tunnel to a warehouse full of flymen . Kill them and go all the way to the bottom to find a Miquella Cross. If you look closely, there is another door at the bottom that leads to a balcony. Turn the camera and you will see the talisman in a small room.

Cameo of Rellana

Improves attacks executed after holding the same position for a while.

This talisman is obtained in Ensis Castle . It will be on the altar of the chapel that you pass through after defeating Moonrithyll, Carian Knight . It is difficult to miss it , since you must pass through the chapel.

Furious Divine Beast

Increases the power of storms.

To get this talisman, you must obtain the Dancing Lion’s Memento by defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion , go to the Round Table, talk to Enia next to the Two Fingers and exchange the memento.

Forging Talisman

Improves weapon throwing attacks.

This talisman is obtained in the Ruined Forge in Starfall Past . Follow our dungeon guide to get it.

Shattered Stone Talisman

Increases the power of kick and smash skills.

This talisman is obtained in the Moorth Ruins , in the Shadowy Plateau . Go to the exact point that we indicate below these lines and you will find a half-buried building that you can enter.

From there you can go underground and find the talisman on the edge of the roof.

Horny Amulet of the Faithful +2

Greatly increases robustness.

This amulet is obtained in the optional dungeon Bonny’s Prison . Follow our dungeon guide to find it.

Pearl Shield Talisman

Increases non-physical damage denial while shielding.

This talisman is obtained in the Ruins of Rauh . To get to it, go west-northwest of the Ancient Ruins’ Grace Base , to a Messmer soldier camp that you can see marked in the image below these lines.

When you reach the camp, look for a chest near the bonfire , where you will find the talisman.

Two-handed sword talisman

Improves two-handed weapon attacks.

This talisman is located high up in the Temple Ruins , in the Rauh Ruins .

Cerulean Amber Medallion +3

Maximize PC power.

You will get this medallion by defeating the Death Knight (one of the two versions).

Green Double-Headed Turtle Talisman

Greatly increases stamina recovery speed.

To get this talisman, you must go to the Temple Ruins , a location in the Rauh Ruins .

Once there, go south to the waterfall, and turn the camera to look at the cliff . You will see some tombs as platforms.

Go down them to the bottom of the abyss and cross the waterfall to find the talisman at the bottom of the small cave.

Crimson Amber Medallion +3

Maxes out HP.

You will get this medallion by defeating the Death Knight (one of the two versions).

Talisman of the Lord’s Gift

Using a vial of tears increases poise.

You’ll get this medallion in the Shadow Fortress , next to the golden tree in the courtyard near the entrance. Follow our dungeon guide to find it easily.

Viridian Amber Medallion +3

Maximize your resistance.

This amulet is obtained in the optional dungeon Catacombs of Light and Darkness , in the depths of the Shadowy Highlands . Follow our dungeon guide to find it.

Exaltation of the Elder

Nearby madness increases attack power.

This talisman is obtained in the Forest of the Abyss . You have to kill the yellow-headed monsters that roam the forest. To do so, you must parry the grab hit , from that point on you can damage them, they will be invulnerable until that moment.

Smile of Santa Trina

Nearby sleep increases attack power.

You will get this talisman as part of the Thiollier and Santa Trina quest .

Crimson Seed Talisman +1

Greatly increases the HP restoration from the Vial of Crimson Tears.

You will get this talisman by ringing the bell at the Ruins of Rhia’s Finger on the Cerulean Coast

Talisman with glowing dragon +3

Maximizes lightning damage negation.

You’ll get this talisman during Return to the Shadow Keep . Follow our dungeon guide to get it.

Marksman’s Talisman

Increases the attack power of precision shots.

It is found in the Albinaurc Hut in Shadowview , northeast of where you fight Gaius.

Cerulean Seed Talisman +1

Greatly increases PC restoration from the Cerulean Tears Vial.

This talisman is obtained by ringing the bell at the Dheo Finger Ruins on the Northeast Coast .

Golden braid

Maximizes Holy Damage Negation.

You’ll get this talisman in the Shaman’s Village on the Northeast Coast . Climb to the top of the settlement and look in the hollow of the tree next to the ruined building.

Quality Crucible Feather Talisman

Improves recoil, but increases damage taken.

This talisman can be obtained in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh . You need to navigate a small maze to get to it. Check out our guide on how to get to the Scorpion Ruins and the route to the talisman to find the way to it.

Talisman of all crucibles

Grants the effects of all crucible talismans.

This talisman is obtained in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh . Continue until you reach the place of Grace Ancient Ruins of Rauh, West .

Once there, head up the stairs to the southwest and look for the elevator at the top, before heading back outside. Once at the top, turn left and look down the cliff . You’ll see a series of structures you can drop down onto.

Start following the entire path and ignore the large room with an elevator that you will see along the way, follow the path of ruins to the end, where there will be two inquisitors. From there, go east and look north to see another hole in the wall .

In that tunnel you will find a chest with the Talisman of All Crucibles .

Verdinn disc

Increases defense by carrying more equipment.

It is located in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh . To get to it, first follow the route to the Grace Ancient Ruins, Grand Staircase . From there, you have to follow the entire path down the stairs and east towards the lake east of Ancient Ruins of Rauh, East .
