While in Red Dead Redemption the hunting challenge consisted of exploring the world to find all kinds of animal species , in the Undead Nightmare expansion the story changes radically. The hunter challenge also exists, but it involves going out in search of the zombies that roam freely in the wild west . Of course, it is necessary to complete this challenge to get 100% of the DLC, so today here we tell you how to get it easily .
The 4 Undead Nightmare Challenges
Just like the environmental challenges in Red Dead Redemption, the Undead Nightmare DLC has a total of four challenges required to achieve 100% . And although they are not known as environmental challenges here, they actually follow the same pattern: we have a challenge to hone our aim, another to search for treasures , the 4 horses of the apocalypse challenge and, finally, the one we are dealing with today: the hunting challenge. Between all of them, they can add up to 16% of the total.
On the other hand, if we manage to complete these challenges, we will also get some rewards , such as the treasure chests themselves, or the possibility of getting the horses that we have mentioned so much. That is why we recommend that you complete these challenges as soon as possible , as they will help you in the rest of the game.
The Zombie Hunter Challenge in Undead Nightmare
To start, it’s important to note that, just like with the environmental challenges , Undead Nightmare challenges can jump in organically. In the case of the hunting challenge, it will start when, knowingly or not, we kill one of the level 1 targets. Once we’ve done that, we’ll start with that first level and must complete a total of five .
From there, you should know that most challenges will ask us to hunt zombies, although we will also have to hunt certain infected animals , or we will even come across a surprise in the form of a mythical creature (which is the equivalent of legendary animals). In any case, each challenge will be more difficult than the last.
In other words, sometimes you’ll be asked to complete these hunts under specific conditions, such as using a torch . However, you should know that if you completed the Hunter Challenge from the original game, these trials should be a piece of cake for you.
