Squidward Tentacles
Despite what some people believe, Squidward is not a squid, he is an octopus, as the creator of the series himself confirmed in an interview. He lives in a Moai, right between Bob and Patrick.
Squidward considers himself to be very cultured and loves the arts. Although his childish neighbors consider him their friend, the octopus tends to get annoyed with them easily. He works at the Krusty Krab as a clerk, right across from SpongeBob .
Mr. Krabs
He is the owner and founder of the Krusty Krab, therefore, he is also Bob and Squidward’s boss. Mr. Krabs is excessively stingy and does not pay his employees a fair wage, but deep down he has a good heart. He is the father of Pearl , a whale, and lives with her on an anchor.
Sandy Cheeks

Gary
He is SpongeBob’s pet and lives with him in the pineapple. He is a snail but he makes “meow” sounds . His behavior is a mix of a snail and a cat. He is important in several episodes.
Plankton (Full name: Sheldon J. Plankton)
Plankton is a plankton, in real life he is a microorganism , in the series we see a lot of play with his size for this reason. He has a wife named Karen, who is a supercomputer.
Plankton has a rival restaurant to the Krusty Krab, the Chum Bucket, but it is not at all successful . For this reason Plankton is always trying to steal the secret recipe for the Krabby Patty , without success. Plankton usually appears as an antagonist or villain, always failing.
Plankton became much more well-known since he appeared as the villain in the 2004 SpongeBob SquarePants movie.
Mrs. Puff
Mrs. Puff is a pufferfish and the teacher at the boating school. She appears quite a bit in the series because SpongeBob has tried to get his boating license hundreds of times, always failing. Mrs. Puff is noble and kind, but she finds herself overwhelmed by the difficult task of being the one to take SpongeBob’s boating test .
Being a puffer fish, he inflates himself when he is in moments of stress, usually caused by SpongeBob . The most common stressful situation he faces is when Bob crashes the boat, and he always inflates himself.
Larry the Lobster
