Each perk grants a series of exclusive effects on your character. In addition, each perk or advantage has different ranks, which are unlocked depending on the general or specific level (in each category) of your character. Now we’ll talk about the Luck category . It consists of ten extras (just like the rest), of which we can highlight some above the others.
Below, we’ll tell you which are the best Luck perks in Fallout 4 , ranking the ten perks from worst to best.
Idiot Sage
Unlocked at Luck level 5 , it consists of a maximum of three ranks . The Idiot Wise perk is directly related to your character’s intelligence level.
If you activate it, your character will gain additional experience points when performing any action, but based on how “dumb” you are.
Slaughter
The Massacre perk is unlocked at Luck Level 3. It has up to four ranks , and is actually cooler for the visual effect it causes than for the benefit it grants to the player.
With this perk activated, your attacks will deal 5% more damage (regardless of the weapon you use), but can cause further mutilation or dismemberment on enemies. An attack could even cause your opponent to explode in a bloody feast.
Festival of the Annihilator
The Annihilator’s Festival perk is unlocked at Luck level 8 , and is comprised of three ranks . It’s quite useful, as it ensures that you regain Action Points with any kills you get using VATS.
This means you’ll be able to use VATS more times, and if you’re successful with Fallout 4’s aiming system, you’ll regain your action point bar to use it again .
Four Leaf Clover
The Four-leaf Clover perk is unlocked at Luck level 9 , and has a maximum of four ranks . When activated, any hit using VATS will cause your next attack to be a near-certain critical hit.
This is really useful when fighting Behemoths and Bloodthirsters, as well as other giant enemies in the game.
Seeker
A must-have perk for new players and newcomers. Unlocked at Luck Level 2 , and has up to four ranks . With the Seeker perk activated, players will find more ammo than usual in every corner.
Even if you upgrade it to the max, the game will still offer you ammo for the weapon in your inventory that you have the least amount of ammo for.
Improved Critics
The Improved Criticals perk is gained at Luck level 6 , and can be upgraded up to three ranks . It’s a very useful perk for the game’s most challenging fights.
If you activate it, your critical attacks will deal even more damage , so combining it with the Four-leaf Clover perk is almost guaranteed to be a success.
Rebound
This is the last perk in the Luck category, so it’s unlocked at level 10 (max) . It has three ranks in total. If you activate it, enemy shots can sometimes bounce back , dealing instant damage to them.
Not only is this a great value, but it also makes you the luckiest person in the Commonwealth, and its effect will be even greater when your health bar is low.
Mysterious stranger
A really cool perk that has appeared in previous Fallout games. It unlocks at Luck Level 4 , and has a total of four ranks .
If you activate Mysterious Stranger, a man in black, wearing a trench coat and hat, holding a gun, will occasionally appear. This character will attack enemies and disappear without a trace.
Banker of critics
The second best Luck perk is achieved at level 7 , and can be upgraded up to rank 4. It’s a very nice perk, as it allows you to stack critical attacks for a better chance.
While you are using VATS, with this perk activated, the game will warn you that you can use the critical attack. If you decline to use it, it will be saved for a future occasion, but the meter will recharge again.
Lucky
A must-have perk for any Fallout 4 player, even more so than Seeker. It is obtained by default at Luck level 1 , and can be upgraded up to four ranks .
With the Lucky perk active, the player will get more caps (the in-game currency) anywhere , whether it’s in a filing cabinet, drawer, or toolbox. If you upgrade it to the max, you’ll even see a cap explosion when you kill an enemy.
