All iPhone 17 Colors

Apple shows new iPhones in September, and details about colors and design appear closer to the presentation, but this is if we are talking only about official data. No one has banned rumors and insiders, so now, a month and a half before the presentation, we know in what color solutions the new iPhones will be presented.

All iPhone 17 Colors

Insider Philip Esposito of macworld.com has obtained an “internal document” that allegedly lists all the color options for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro.

While the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus came in the same color options, Apple will offer different color options for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air to differentiate the two models.

The base iPhone 17 model is expected to be available in the following colors:

  • Black color (same as iPhone 16)
  • White (same as iPhone 16)
  • Steel grey (new color)
  • Green (new color)
  • Purple (new color)
  • Light blue (new color)

Insider Majin Boo has published photos of iPhone dummies, which show two new shades of the device – green and purple.

While these two colors have already been seen in previous generations, the iPhone 17 will likely be available in new shades of green and purple.

The new model in the iPhone line (rumored to be super thin and light) will be available in four shades:

  • Black (same as iPhone 16)
  • White (brighter and cooler than iPhone 16)
  • Light blue (new color)
  • Light gold (new color)

The light blue on the iPhone 17 Air will be slightly lighter than the one on the iPhone 17. Apple wants to use less saturated colors for the Air to emphasize the lightness of the model.

The light blue iPhone 17 Air will be reminiscent of the Sky Blue shade that was introduced in the MacBook Air M4, while the light gold model should look like a lighter version of the Desert Titanium color in the iPhone 16 Pro.

All iPhone 17 Pro Colors

As for the Pro models, Apple has prepared new colors for this line as well:

  • Black (same as iPhone 16 Pro)
  • White (same as iPhone 16 Pro)
  • Gray (similar to natural titanium)
  • Dark blue (new color)
  • Orange (new color)

The blue iPhone 17 Pro will likely be very similar to the Blue Titanium model that was previously released alongside the iPhone 15 Pro. The orange, according to insiders, will be “fluorescent” — that is, bright and glowing, especially in daylight.

Apple will switch from titanium to aluminum in the iPhone 17 Pro, which clearly influenced the chosen shades. The smartphones will receive several new features. Among the expected changes:

  • A19 processors in all models.
  • 12GB of RAM on Pro models.
  • Larger screen in the base model iPhone 17.

The ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air will replace the iPhone 16 Plus. The new smartphone’s rear camera is expected to receive a new design with an enlarged matrix module located across the entire back panel. The company is expected to unveil all models of the iPhone 17 lineup at a presentation in the first month of autumn, approximately from September 8 to 12, 2025.
