Memories are a type of collectible that are pretty much what their name suggests. At one point or another, in a certain place, with a certain character, Amicia remembers something that happened to her, another NPC, and so on. As a result, you receive an intangible collectible, as indicated by a corresponding notification on the screen.
There are a total of 21 memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem that you can activate. It is impossible to miss any of them completely, forcing you to replay the entire game. You will be able to collect missed memories through the Chapter Select menu, which becomes available after completing the entire storyline for the first time. Once you have collected all the memories, you will unlock the Immortal Memories achievement. You can keep track of your collected and missed memories through the game’s Codex, which is accessible from the pause menu.
Chapter 2
In the second chapter, you can find two memories at once.
Memory “Most Improved Player” – How to Get
The first memory can be activated when entering the market in the second chapter. You need to play a mini-game on the right side of the market. When you see a woman who stops you for a conversation, turn to the right. There are two pots on the table that need to be thrown into the buildings made of toy blocks opposite. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
Successfully hitting the boxes and making them fall will allow you to activate the “Best Player” memory. You need to aim for the bottom cubes to make the whole structure collapse. Once you do this, the man will call you the best player of the day.
Rest in Peace Memory – How to Get
The next memory can be found when entering the basement, where you will also find many corpses and several infected/sick people. Hugo and Amicia will discuss the place and what may have happened here.
You need to go to the first floor of the building, turn onto the stairs on the right side and find a dying woman at the far end. Interact with her to hear her last words, which will activate the “Rest in Peace” memory.
Chapter 3
In the third chapter, two memories can be found.
Memory “Grave” – how to get
When you leave the city in the third chapter and find houses near the forest, you can get another memory. To activate it, you need to enter the room, the gate of which is locked with an internal lock. You need to go towards the protected area, stand at a certain angle and find the lock. After that, use your slingshot, aiming at the lock and breaking it. Once you do this, enter the previously closed area and approach the grave. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
When you are near the grave, you will see a hint about interaction. Interact with the grave and wait for the dialogue between Amicia and Luca to end. Immediately after the conversation, the memory “Grave” will open.
Memory “Our Home” – how to get
This memory can be obtained in the same warehouse where Amicia finds her gear and the first secret chest (locked workbench) in A Plague Tale: Requiem. You need to go to the opposite side of the chest, and find the stairs leading back.
Go up the stairs and look for a chained platform on the left side that blocks the way to the table at the far end. There is an item on this table that will trigger another memory, so you need to aim at the lock on the chain and shoot it with a regular rock from the slingshot.
Once this is done, go to the new part of the warehouse and examine the items on the table. Interact with them as soon as the game prompts you to do so, and you will soon receive the “Our Home” memory.
Chapter 4
In the fourth chapter, two more memories can be found.
Silk Treasure Memory – How to Get
The next memory is near the docks in Chapter 4. When you get there, go to the left side and look for a small hole between the barrels. Get through it and you will find a platform you can climb on, but to do so, you will have to place an object. Well, you guessed what object I am talking about. To your left, look for a cart that needs to be moved so that Amicia can climb onto the platform described above.
Move the cart to the opposite side. Once you reach the upper platform, you will find silk carpets and goods. Interact with them to activate the “Silk Treasure” memory. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
You will receive the memory before you encounter any enemies. So if a fight starts, it means you have gone too far ahead and missed the memory. In this case, you will need to reload the last checkpoint or subsection.
Memory “Grain of Sand” – how to get
The next memory location is at the exit of the resin workshop. You need to go out onto the road, go to the very end and find a gate on the right side, locked with a chain and padlock.
Use the slingshot to shoot the castle and create a passage that will lead to the end of the pier, where the memory is located. Once you reach the end of the pier, you will find some bags and a view of the castle. Press the interaction button to have Amicia and Luca talk about the castle. This will give you the memory “Grain of Sand”.
Chapter 5
In chapter five, two memories can be found.
Memory “Roar of the Deer” – how to get
The next memory can be found before you reach the boat. When you find a fork in the road that goes forward and to the right, turn right and go to the very end. Soon you will find a broken cart and a narrow path leading even further. Continue along this road until you reach the place where Amicia follows the deer’s tracks. When the prompt appears, press the interaction key/button to initiate a dialogue between Luca and Amicia, and unlock the “Deer’s Roar” memory.
Memory “Guuuugooo” – how to get
The next memory can be found when you try to help Luca cross the infected area at the construction site. You need to throw the pot so that it creates a huge fire circle (ball) on the ground. Luca will have enough space to cross from the opposite platform and reunite with Amicia. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
The next thing you should do is look up and find a ladder that is chained. Use the slingshot to break the lock, lower the ladder and climb up. Once you do that, climb up and when Luka gets to the edge of the cliff, walk towards him to get an interaction prompt. Press the button/key to get another memory.
Chapter 6
In chapter six, two memories can be found.
Memory “Imagine You’re Flying” – How to Get
A new memory can be found when Amicia and Hugo try to ask strangers for directions to the coast. When you get to the right place, go along the road to the left. The right path starts between two tents and leads deep into the forest.
When you reach the end of the road, you will find a swing attached to a tree. Hugo will invite Amicia to sit on the swing, and he will swing her. Sit on the swing, and when Hugo starts swinging it, you will receive the memory “Imagine You’re Flying”.
Memory “What color do you want?” – how to get
Once you find a way to exit the rat-infested building by setting various objects on fire, you will find a door (by placing a torch on the wall next to it). When you enter the room, you will see a ladder that leads to a platform. Behind it, there will be another room that can be accessed through a small hole in the wall.
Go down to the platform and you will find clothes and pieces of fabric. When you press the interaction button/key, Hugo will ask Amicia to change the bandage. This will activate the memory “What color do you want?”. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
Chapter 7
In chapter seven, two memories can be found.
Memory “Survivor” – how to get
The next memory in A Plague Tale: Requiem can be found when you enter the cave. Don’t take the path that goes deeper into the cave. Instead, go forward a bit and turn left. There will be a platform here that you can climb to find the memory.
When you see this platform, climb up onto it and walk forward a bit to find a shipwreck. Once you reach this location, look for an interaction point to initiate a conversation between Amicia and Hugo, who will discuss the shipwreck. This will trigger the Survivor memory.
Memory “First People” – how to get
When you arrive at the fishing village, climb up the platform on the left side instead of taking the path that leads to another battle. Once you climb up the platform, you’ll notice a cave with a small opening. Climb through it and you’ll be able to grab the torch hanging on the wall on the right side.
Take the torch and continue along the path that will lead to a wall with handprints of different sizes. Press the button/interact key to get the “First People” memory.
Chapter 8
In the eighth chapter you can find two memories. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
Memory “Silent Lucinda” – how to get
The first memory of this chapter can be found when you reach the large market square. Explore it and find a place with several goats. Once you get there, ask Hugo to interact with the goat, and once he does, you will activate the memory “Silent Lucinda”.
Flower Crown Memory – How to Get
The next memory is in the same market square. Go back from where you got the previous memory and follow the road. When you get the chance, turn right and keep going until you reach the stall.
The next step is to interact with the stall owner and play a mini-game. You will find four flower crowns and four colored tarps on the wall. You need to throw the ball through the crowns, hitting the colored tarps. If you throw through the crown but miss the tarp, you will have to do it all over again.
Once you successfully complete the task, you will unlock the Flower Crown memory.
Chapter 9
In the ninth chapter, you can find as many as three memories.
Memory “Another Thousand Years” – How to get
When you leave the castle, you’ll need to follow the bird statues. Eventually, you’ll reach a village with a few houses and a road that goes ahead to the next battle. At the fork, don’t rush to go left, but instead use the small opening on the side. The road leading to the back of the house ends at a tree.
Continue walking with Hugo and Sofia, and soon you will reach a large old tree. Interact with it to activate the memory “Another Thousand Years”. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
Memory “Wonderful Squeal” – how to get
This is the same lookout tower where you find the secret chest. To enter the tower, head towards it to find a small opening. Use your slingshot to shoot the lock attached to the inside of the door. Once done, enter the lookout tower and loot the secret chest. Climb to the top of the tower and when prompted, press the button/interact key to unlock the “Wonderful Screech” Intuition.
Tramontana Memory – How to Get
To get to the next memory, you need to solve a puzzle. First, go to the location with a door on the left and grass that you can burn (near this door).
Then burn the grass by shooting it with the Ignifer slingshot and let the fire die out. Once this is done, you will notice a small hole through which Hugo can crawl. The boy will open the locked door. Find a black goat inside the area and interact with it. This will trigger a conversation between Amicia and Hugo and you will unlock the memory “Tramontana”.
Chapter 10
In the third chapter, one memory can be found.
Memory “Rag Doll” – how to get
When you enter the ruins of Chapter 10, if you approach the tree and turn to face the far side, Amicia will be able to shoot an arrow with a rope into the structure and pull it down. This will create a passage to another area to explore, where the next memory is hidden. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
Climb up the structure you just pulled towards you and you’ll reach a tree with blood and shackles tied to it. Press the interaction button/key to trigger a conversation between Hugo and Amicia. She’ll say that whoever was chained to those chains could have freed themselves and escaped. After the conversation, you’ll receive the Rag Doll memory.
Chapter 11
In chapter eleven, two memories can be found.
Memory of Chateau d’Ombraje – How to get
You can find the Chapter 11 memory after you drag the burning cart and go to the right side. You will have to use Sophia’s prism to get to the far side of the location and see the table with the memory.
Once you’ve cleared your path through a swarm of infected rats, you’ll find a table you can interact with. Do so and you’ll receive the “Chateau d’Ombraje” memory.
Memory “His Toys…” – how to get
When you reach the big gate, turn around and find a room in the far left corner. You need to go through the door with the red flag, and inside this room you will find another memory. The door will be locked, but there is a small hole in the adjacent wall through which Hugo can crawl. Ask the boy to open the door, and search the table with toys.
Interact with the toys on the table to start a dialogue between Amicia and Hugo. This will unlock the memory “His toys…”. We continue the guide to all memories in A Plague Tale: Requiem on the StopGame.Ru website.
Chapter 13
In the thirteenth chapter one memory can be found.
Memory “Disorder” – how to get
This is the last memory you can get in the game. At some point, you will see a chain with a lock on the right side, which can be destroyed by a shot from Amicia’s sling. Do this, go to the gate and enter the room. Go to the far room and look for a hole on the left side. Climb through it and drag the platform back a little, then leave the room. Thanks to the movement of the platform, you will be able to go through the broken wall of the first room.
Go through the hole to find another small hole in the wall that you can crawl through. Once you do, interact with the objects or books you see on the table. Amicia will fall to her knees. Once this happens, you will unlock the “Disorder” memory.
