Mental

Download for Android

This app will determine which services you spend the most time on and how often you access them.

The tracker can assess how often you open the app and what actions you perform there. Before starting work, you can fill out a questionnaire of 20 questions. They concern your well-being, life satisfaction, interests. Then the application will begin to analyze your behavior and in two days will give a detailed report. Thanks to this data, you can understand what you really do on the phone and how much time it takes.

Menthal does not block apps or send reminders. Only the notification shade on the lock screen will show how many hours a day you spent on the phone. In separate tabs of the tracker, you can see how much time you spend in different services, in what order you open them, and how much time you spend on the phone each day.

Registration is not required to work. The application interface is in English.

Before you launch the tracker for the first time, you need to answer questions about how often you use your phone and for what purposes. Based on this questionnaire, the program will select an approximate plan for using the device. The tracker itself will determine how many times a day you should unlock the phone and how many hours you should spend in it. All data will be shown in the notification curtain.

You can also take a more detailed questionnaire that will determine your user type. However, the application settings are very flexible, and you can adjust them to suit yourself. You can track your progress in the tracker for a week or a month and get advice on eco-friendly use of gadgets.

To use the tracker, you need to register via email or Google account. The interface is in English.

MyAddictometer

Download for Android

A simple time tracker that analyzes the total time you spent on your phone without naming specific apps.

After installation, the main screen opens with a timer and three icons. In “Usage trends” you can see how often you unlocked the device and how many hours you spent on it. “Analysis” shows comparative graphs for a week and three days, and in the “Time scale” all the intervals in which you used the gadget are marked. Reports can be exported in table format to any messenger, by email or saved on your phone.

Registration is not required. The application interface is in English. The application for iOS is currently being developed.

Forest

Download for iOS , download for Android

A time tracker that helps you focus on work. Here you will have a game motivation not to go to social networks. The user must grow a tree, but this can only be done if you do not go to other applications. If you open a third-party service while the time tracker is working, the tree dies.

The tracker operates in two modes: timer and stopwatch. In the first case, you measure out a period of time during which you should not be distracted, for example, 30 minutes. If you do not touch the phone during this time, the plant will get stronger. In stopwatch mode, there is no time target. Depending on how much time you spent without the gadget, a certain number of trees will grow.

Text appears next to the image of a growing tree. It should encourage you to close your smartphone screen and get back to work. But sometimes it can sound quite rude, like “Stop coming in here!” or “Leave me alone!” The graph shows how many hours a day you were focused on work and a section of trees that grew while you weren’t distracted by gadgets.

Registration is not required. The interface is completely in Russian.

Toggl

Download for iOS , download for Android

This time tracker allows you to track how much time you spend on specific work tasks.

The application has two modes. The first one looks like a task list without a specific time interval. Thanks to it, you will understand how much time is needed for a particular task. The second mode is working according to the “Pomodoro Method”. You write the name of the task, and the countdown starts for 25 minutes, and then the timer measures a 5-minute break. And so on until you finish working on the task. Then you can see how long you did your work on different days in the “Calendar” and “Reports” tabs.

To use the free version of the application, you need to register via email or Google account. The interface is in English.

Flip

Download for iOS , download for Android

A time tracker that radically solves the problem of procrastination on social networks and simply blocks your phone for a certain amount of time.

You set the task and time, press start and can no longer unlock the device. The only exceptions are applications that can be added to the “White List”. But there are no social networks there, only a phone, calculator, calendar, notes. For comfortable work, the tracker has a set of background music. You can turn on the noise of a library, cafe or the sounds of nature.

You can pull down the notification shade, but you can’t click on the alerts. If something urgent happens, you’ll have to reboot your smartphone to access messengers or social networks.

The tracker can also be used in simpler modes, for example as a stopwatch for working using the Pomodoro method or a regular timer.

To use the free version of the application, simply register via email or Google account. The interface is in English.

Quality Time

Download for Android

This time tracker allows you to track the total time spent on your phone and the time spent in each specific app. You can also see the chronology of your daily app usage and the number of times you launch them.

An unusual feature is “Break.” It’s not so much for concentrating on work as for taking a break from your phone. You create a topic, for example, “Meet with family.” Then you mark the duration of the event and select apps that you can still access if necessary, and block notifications or calls. After that, you won’t be able to access other services until the allotted time is up.
