Large-sized “junk” is easier to sell, at least because you won’t have to pay for disposal. And sometimes the far shelf of the pantry can store much more valuable things than you thought!
Sofa
No matter how useless your old furniture may seem to you, don’t rush to throw it away. First, you should look at how much similar items are sold for online. While it’s easy to get rid of, say, a chair if needed, you won’t be able to throw away a sofa so easily. In addition, you’ll probably have to pay for removal and disposal. Meanwhile, sofas, especially if you can sleep on them, are in demand on the secondary market. At a low price, it will be gladly picked up by people who, for example, rented an apartment without furniture or, on the contrary, want to rent out housing and not worry about the property.
Vinyl records
If you are the lucky owner of a home vinyl collection, you are either lucky or very lucky. Depending on the artist, edition and, most importantly, condition, the vinyl will be gladly bought by collectors. By the way, many modern albums are still released on vinyl and cost around 5,000 rubles. Rare retro copies can be sold for more. Still thinking about throwing the dusty stack in the trash?
Fridge
They, like sofas, are in demand among tenants, but not only. Used refrigerators are popular with summer residents. Moreover, you can even sell a broken unit. Sometimes they are used as a sealed cabinet, which rodents and other pests will not get into. In general, do not judge your old refrigerator too harshly, your job is to place an ad. Checking the demand will definitely not be superfluous.
Sport equipment
From a bicycle to a tent and snowboard, you can sell any sports and tourist equipment profitably. As a rule, it is not used very often and wears out slowly. This means it retains a presentable appearance. But people buy used equipment not for the sake of its ideal condition, but because new equipment is several times more expensive. And the price is usually justifiably high: high-tech materials cost a lot of money. And if the thing performs its function 100%, why overpay? Special clothing and footwear can also be easily sold: for example, trekking boots or a special winter jacket. Many people simply feel sorry to give away tens of thousands of rubles for the first (and possibly last) hike in their life.
Musical instruments
Have you checked how much new musical instruments cost lately? In a word – expensive! And they are often bought not only for themselves, but also for children, who may not be inspired by the purchase and will not abandon the hobby after the holidays. If musical instruments are lying around your house unused, their prices will pleasantly surprise you! When selling them, you can get a solid amount.
Typewriters
Frankly speaking, even a printer at home is not as relevant as it was 10-15 years ago. Electronic document management and large-scale digitalization have done their job: printing is objectively needed less and less. But if you still have a typewriter, you are lucky. Collectors and, in extreme cases, interior designers are happy to buy them. If you really were going to get rid of a relic of the past, no matter how you look at it, you are a winner.
Dishes
Before you get rid of a boring tea set, be sure to look at the bottom. And no, not because a bad housewife usually doesn’t wash it well, but you want to make sure of the opposite. The manufacturer is usually indicated on the bottom. And an ordinary mug at first glance may not be from the Land of the Rising Sun, but from the now non-existent Czechoslovakia – such a mug can be sold at a higher price, but the dishes are in surprisingly high demand on the Internet in any case.
