The Galaxy A35 is a mid-range phone with many qualities. Construction, cameras, battery, and more. Check out five reasons to buy this cost-Samsung has been putting a lot of effort into its mid-range Galaxy models. We recently had the GalaxyA53 , A34 and also the A54 – all successful launches, offering excellent devices at a good price. Fortunately, the new phone, Galaxy A35, manages to keep Samsung’s winning streak going. Check out 5 reasons to buy this phone with me.
Premium construction
The first reason to buy the Galaxy A35 is the external construction .Unlike other devices in the same price range, it has a premium design: the back is made of glass, just like Samsung’s most expensive phones.It is available in 4 different colors: white, green, pink and black. In terms of design, it appears to be a much more expensive device than it actually is.
But I know that the look of the cell phone doesn’t matter that much, since more than 80% of people use protective cases that end up hiding these details of the device, but when I talk about the construction, I’m also referring to the protections: The screen is made of Gorilla Glass Victus+ , resistant to scratches and small drops, an upgrade compared to the glass on the Galaxy A34 which was already very good.
Battery
Over the past two years, I’ve noticed a drop in the battery life of the phones we test here. The devices are getting more powerful, but the battery capacity remains the same, 5,000 mAh . In a scenario like this, our battery test becomes even more relevant. It works like this: the phones start with 100% charge and spend the whole day performing tasks such as browsing the internet, watching reels on Instagram , recording videos and even playing games. The test lasts 7h45 and is the same for all phones.
- ✅Completed the test;
- Total consumption: 86% of battery;
- Test duration: +7h45min with screen on;
- Total battery: 5,000 mAh;
- Charger in the box: 15W;
- Charging from 0 to 100% in: 1h58 minutes
Fortunately, the Galaxy A35 was able to finish the test comfortably, with 14% charge remaining . This means that it can easily handle a full day of intense use.Compared to previous models, such as the Galaxy A34 and A54, the new device didn’t do so well, I confess, but when compared against the POCO X6 – which is the main competitor, the A35 has much greater autonomy.
ll phones | Capacity | Consumption | Screen On | Loading time | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
12th | Samsung Galaxy A54 5G | 5,000 | 72 | 07:45h | 01:57h |
26° | Samsung Galaxy A34 5G | 5,000 | 80 | 07:45h | 02:04h |
41° | Samsung Galaxy A55 5G | 5,000 | 85 | 07:45h | 01:46h |

Performance
The third reason to buy the A35 is performance. It has under the hood the exact same processor as the Galaxy A54 , the Exynos 1380 , manufactured by Samsung itself under the 5-nanometer architecture. “Exynos” processors have always been under a cloud of controversy related to overheating, and this was true in the Galaxy A54 when it was first launched. After a few months, Samsung fixed this problem and this cell phone became the best value for money in 2023.

Now, in 2024, we can find this same powerful processor in a much cheaper cell phone, our Galaxy A35. It continues to deliver great performance, reaching 611 thousand points in the AnTuTu test .
Depending on the version you buy, you can opt for 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage , which is the model we tested, or the more expensive 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Our model here already handles all tasks quite quickly, but don’t be afraid to get the version with double the storage if it’s not much more expensive. It will increase the longevity of your phone, since apps tend to get heavier and heavier.
Cameras
Speaking of storage, you’ll need several free gigabytes if you want to film in 4K.Exactly, we have here a cell phone that films in 4K for less than R$1,500, that’s something that Xiaomi could learn from Samsung.
But seriously, the quality of the videos and photos that this phone can take really surprised me. I took some photos with the Galaxy A35 side by side with the more expensive model, the Galaxy A55, and the result is practically the same.
