We are used to these celebrities appearing on screen in a single copy. We are happy to inform you that some of them have twins – less famous, but also wonderful people. We have compiled a list of stars who can boast of having twins.
Gisele and Patricia Bundchen
Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Gisele Bundchen was born in the south of Brazil to German immigrants. In addition to her twin sister Patricia, she had four more sisters: Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela and Rafaela. At the age of 14, Patricia, like Gisele, went to modeling school, but she found working on the catwalk boring. Then she retrained as a model manager: she entered the public relations department and began to help her sister break through to the top. By the way, partly thanks to Patricia’s business acumen, Gisele retained her status as the highest paid model in the world for almost 12 years.
Ashton and Michael Kutcher
Since ultrasound was not widely used in the 1970s, the parents of Christopher (Ashton) and Michael Kutcher were not prepared for the birth of twins. And while the first boy was born completely healthy, the second was diagnosed with a mild form of cerebral palsy and cardiomyopathy (a heart disease characterized by damage to the myocardium). There is a legend: when the boys were 13, Michael needed an urgent heart transplant, and Ashton tried to commit suicide to give the heart to his brother, but the boy was stopped in time by his father. In the end, a donor was found, the transplant was successful. Now Michael is 45 years old, he works as an economist and leads an independent life. The actor’s brother devotes his free time to fighting for the rights of children with cerebral palsy and campaigning for posthumous organ donation.
Kiefer and Rachel Sutherland
Canadian Kiefer Sutherland (the horror film Mirrors, the thriller Flatliners, and the Lars von Trier drama Melancholia) was born into a famous acting family; his father is the famous actor Donald Sutherland. How could he not start acting in films? Well, it’s actually very simple: Kiefer’s twin sister Rachel chose producing over acting. Her work record includes only five or six roles in little-known films, which didn’t stop her from making a fortune of $60 million working in post-production.
Scarlett and Hunter Johansson
Hunter Johansson is three minutes younger than his super-popular sister. In 1996, he starred with her in the comedy-drama film Manny & Lo (The Thieves in Russian release), and has not been seen on the set since. However, he has been seen in Scarlett’s company on the red carpet of various awards: Hunter, as an exemplary brother, often accompanies the actress to important events. But it is clear that Hunter was more interested in a political career than in cinema: in the late 2000s, he worked on Barack Obama’s team, and is now actively involved in business and charity.
Vin Diesel and Paul Vincent
It’s hard to believe that brutal Vin Diesel was a skinny, shy boy at school and was terribly jealous of his twin brother Paul. It was shyness that drove Vin to the gym: to pump up his muscles and build self-confidence. All this time, Vin dreamed of acting in films, while Paul was quite happy with the profession of an editor. Now little is known about the latter: he lives in Southern California and edits and produces soundtracks for films.
