Tricks to use Telegram using special functions
Before starting our list of suggestions to make the most of Telegram we would like to underline how important it is to distinguish the different ways of using this app. The version for telegram mod for android iOS smartphones differs slightly from Telegram Web or Telegram Desktop ; therefore, if I do not find some features in the latter, it would be only because they have not yet been implemented or they never will be. But now let’s dive into Telegram’s most interesting features.
1. How to change Telegram settings
The first step to modify and customize your Telegram is to reach the Settings section to be able to change them. Launch the official application and pressing the top left on the three horizontal lines select Settings from the drop-down menu. Here you can change: Notifications , Privacy and Security , Data and archive , IM settings , folders , devices , and language .
2. How to set the timer on Telegram
The application allows you to send messages with a timer and self-destruct them after a maximum viewing time. To do this, start Telegram , open the chat where you want to send the message and press the send key that you will find at the bottom right. 3. How to enter Telegram without being seen
Go to Settings and click on Privacy and security . From here in the Last accessed section and online and check the entry None . This way your contacts will not be able to know when you are logged in.
4. How to add nearby contacts and groups
Start Telegram and tap the icon with the three horizontal lines , at the top right, and then the Contacts section . Press on Find people nearby and give consent for the app to access the location of your device . You will see new contacts and groups to add.
5. How to edit sent messages
When you send a message you can decide to modify it perhaps due to a typo. Press and hold your finger on the message and the Edit option will appear at the top , represented by the pencil icon , select it and change the message.
6. How to send messages without sound
Telegram allows you to send messages without sound even to those who have the audio mode active. When typing a message, instead of pressing Send once, press and hold until Send comes out without sound .
7. How to remove the received message
When you receive a message, just press on it for a few seconds and select Delete or Delete also for (contact name) .

If you are annoyed about being added to random groups go to Settings and select Privacy and security . From here open the Groups section and activate the My contacts function in the Who can add me to groups section? and not allow never , in Add exceptions specifying which users can not add you in groups or channels.

Open the chat you are interested in silencing and after pressing on the contact’s profile photo select Notifications and then deactivate for the time you want.
