20% discount on Fortnite | How to calculate the percentage of a number
To calculate the percentage of a number, simply follow these steps:
- To get a 20% discount of $ 25:
- 25 x 20% = 5
- 25-5 = 20
- 20% off $ 25 is $ 20
- If you don’t have a percentage button on your calculator:
- 25 x o.2 = 20
- 25-5 = 20
- If you don’t have a percentage button on your calculator:
Or you can just divide the original number by five to find out what the 20% discount is. Fortunately, though, Fortnite should automatically take the discount off any V-Bucks purchase or other real-money offers.
How to get the 20% discount on Fortnite
On PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, the 20% discount should be automatically deducted from the price. Things will simply be cheaper than they were before the game’s latest update (August 13, 2020). All you have to do is make sure the game is updated to its latest version. On Android and iOS devices, however, it’s slightly different.
When purchasing V-Bucks on Android and iOS, you must choose to pay via Epic direct payment, rather than via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. The game will show you what the discounted price is for paying via Epic Direct Pay. The new system takes away the 30% commission from Apple and Google on purchases, making things cheaper for you and better for Epic Games. Win you win. Alternatively, you can purchase V-Bucks at their new discounted price for Android from the Epic Games app and the Samsung Galaxy Store.
In addition to all the discounts, you will also receive the free Shooting Starstaff Pickaxe (see above) the next time you log in to Fortnite. You will also receive bonus V-Bucks on any purchase made between July 14, 2020 and August 13, 2020. This will be 20% of the total V-Bucks spent during that time period automatically added to your account.
