Ants are everywhere. Not only in the forest, but they often settle in homes, especially where they smell some food, ideally sugar. Sometimes getting rid of them can be difficult, but not impossible. 1. Duct tape that ants stick to
Have you discovered an army of ants marching towards your kitchen and about to have a bite to eat? One of the first solutions to get rid of them, or to prevent them from accessing you, is to use duct tape. Pour boiling water through the bottom drainage hole, which is now at the top. It will not drain as quickly and will kill the ants.

You don’t need insecticides or ant traps to protect your kitchen. Use lemons. Their effect is stronger than you think. Here’s how to get rid of ants with lemons. First, squeeze the juice from a lemon. Fill a spray bottle with it and spray all the holes, cracks and crevices where ants get in. Also spray the area around your exterior entrance with lemon juice. Make small shavings from the lemon peel or simply grate it. Then place lemon slices near your front door or windows. This will send a clear message to the ants that they are not welcome. Lemons are also effective against cockroaches and fleas. Simply mix the juice of 4 lemons with the peel and 2 liters of water and mop the floors with this mixture. Fleas and cockroaches hate lemons.
7. Orange puree straight into the anthill
Get rid of ants in your garden, patio, and along the foundation of your home. Puree orange peels in a blender until smooth and add 1 cup of warm water. Slowly pour the mixture into the anthill.
8. Pepper repels all ants
Ants love sugar but hate pepper. It is best to use either black or cayenne pepper. Crush it and sprinkle it in the areas where the ants are most active and where they are coming into the house. It is ideal to sprinkle the pepper from the back and front along the kitchen counter, where they are likely to hang out the most. If you cannot find the hole where the ants are coming from, sprinkle the pepper directly into it. When the ants detect the presence of the pepper, they will immediately turn around and leave their hiding place.
9. Plastic containers as an insurmountable moat

Prepare bay leaves, or sage, cinnamon, or cloves, and place them inside or near your spice jars.
