Every woman has a secret. Every successful woman has at least ten. But seriously, achieving success is easier than it may seem, it’s all in your hands!
Believe in yourself
Let’s imagine that you can’t swim. Deep waters scare you, and the pool makes you anxious. All you need to do is learn to swim at a safe depth under the supervision of a coach. A successful woman will do this or find another way, because she believes that nothing is impossible. A loser will find a million excuses: she will decide that she has no money, time, will call herself too clumsy, too heavy – in general, she will find a reason to do nothing. Needless to say, all this does not affect the possibility of acquiring a new skill and at the same time getting rid of fear? Without faith in yourself, it is impossible to achieve success.
Success starts small
When it comes to someone else’s big success, it may seem like you can’t achieve such an ambitious goal. But no one becomes a star overnight. Yes, a bit of luck is a must, but even without it, you will achieve outstanding results if you take your steps toward your goal. Do you dream of opening a cafe? What have you done today? Do you want to write a book? Write a page a day. Don’t underestimate the first step, even if it seems insignificant.
You can’t live for others
Remember how many opportunities were missed simply because you felt awkward in front of someone. And this point is not about selfishness at all. The first symptom that you live for others is a constant silent question in your head: “What will people think of me?” It’s time to change it to another: “What will change in my life if they think of me differently than I would like?” You already know the answer – absolutely nothing. Want to meet an interesting person? Go for it! Try yourself in something new – go ahead! There is no shame in learning at any age. Stop looking back at others, and you will see how much your life will change for the better.
Progress is more important than results
One of the most important secrets to success is to focus on progress. Most people fail to achieve their goals only because they rush to evaluate the result, and when it leaves much to be desired, they give up halfway. For example, if you dream of becoming a blogger, you should not be picky about the statistics of views. Your task is to regularly post quality content. To get a flat stomach, you will have to go to the gym and, of course, evaluate your success after a series of workouts, and not after a trial lesson. Give yourself enough time. Any progress inevitably leads to success.
All responsibility is on you
You can make excuses and look for someone to blame for all your failures and troubles, or you can think like successful people and take full responsibility for yourself and your life. Sometimes it seems that being responsible is a thankless job, but the secret is that it comes with power over the situation and the ability to implement changes. For example, you hope for a high pension in the future without any reason or open a pension account in a commercial fund.
Keep your enthusiasm up
Yesterday’s graduates are usually full of hope and are not shy about dreaming big. But once a recent student has worked for six months at a boring job, their plans for life become much more restrained. And this, of course, does not contribute to success. No matter what difficult situation you find yourself in, find a way to keep the sparkle in your eyes: be it like-minded people, reading inspiring biographies, or a thematic public page on the Internet.
Overachieve your goals
In no case do we encourage you to earn burnout and chronic fatigue, but we also do not advise you to forget about competition. To achieve success, you need to stand out at every opportunity. Oddly enough, sometimes even simple politeness can be an advantage when no one expects it from you. Or valuable advice regarding the work you have done to your clients or colleagues. Give a little more than is required, and it does not matter whether we are talking about a career, friendship or relationships.
Look for resources
Many people tend to think that success requires untold wealth or influential patrons. But in reality, the key to obtaining the necessary resources lies in ingenuity and the ability to analyze the world around you. Surely you have heard at least one story about attracting investment: if there is a worthwhile idea, funding will be found. If all start-ups waited until they managed to accumulate enough resources to implement their idea, we would now be missing out on many large projects. In everyday life, attracting resources is no less important: for example, asking your husband to wash the dishes if you are exhausted. Sometimes it is enough to just ask.
Stay optimistic
Would you give it your all if you were sure it wouldn’t bring any results? Of course not. All successful people have the ability to think positively when it comes to projects. Would Yuri Gagarin have gone into space if the creators of Vostok 1 had been pessimists? If you only focus on the negatives, you simply don’t see the potential of opportunities when they arise. Think positively and learn to be an optimist, even if you are not one.
Enjoy failures
Use a scientific approach: there is no research without results. Any hypothesis can be either confirmed or refuted. And in the process, you can discover something that initially did not even occur to you. If the hypothesis turns out to be far from reality, the research does not become a failure. It becomes a platform for continuing scientific research, just like a “successful” one. Of course, it is easier to rejoice in victories. But it is worth considering the potential for failure, and you will stop perceiving every loss as the end of the world.
