Most multicellular beings have specialized systems to perform specific functions: nutrition and digestion, breathing, circulation and excretion. They all work together so that the organism has a good functioning, allowing it to stay alive. We call this fact homeostasis.
The study of Anatomy and Physiology allows us to understand this process. The first focuses on the study of the structures that constitute living beings, as well as their organization. The study of the processes related to the functioning of these structures is on account of Physiology. It, among other aspects, is responsible for understanding the roles that the nervous, sensory and endocrine systems play, being responsible for the integration and body control.
