  • Older children : The recommended dose for the treatment of vitamin A deficiency symptoms is 10 to 20 drops, 50,000 to 100,000 IU per day. For the treatment of nocturnal blindness, the recommended dose is 40 drops, 200,000 IU, on the 1st day of treatment, repeating the dose after 24 hours and after 4 weeks.
  • Adults : The recommended dose for the treatment of vitamin A deficiency symptoms is 6 to 10 drops, 30,000 to 50,000 IU per day. For the treatment of nocturnal blindness, the recommended dose is 40 drops, 200,000 IU, on the 1st day of treatment, repeating the dose after 24 hours and after 4 weeks.
  • Women in the age of rep roduction : should only be used according to medical advice, but usually the dose recommended for the treatment of night blindness, is 2 drops 10,000 IU per day for two weeks or according to medical indication.
